The Illini Men's Gymnastics team captured the NCAA Championship in April 2012 after having been two points down to Oklahoma for the duration of the final. But the men on pommel horse were able to step up their game, pulling their highest score of the season and recovering the point spread.

A grant-based and cooperation-dependent project, the SSF provides much of the salad greens for the University Housing's dining halls. Third annual Red Bull Chariot Race at the University of Illinois

The third annual Red Bull Chariot Race took over Sixth Street on Tuesday, ridding the street of cars and replacing them with...chariots. Seven teams participated in the race, but in the end, Case Race prevailed for the third year in a row.

Ilona Widomska, new drum major for the Marching Illini

Ilona Widomska, then-sophomore in music education, was selected as the newest drum major for the Marching Illini at the University of Illinois. As Widomska had never spun mace before, she was coached by drum major Brooke Atlas, then-junior in music education. This video was a project for Brian Johnson's multimedia journalism class, spring 2012.
